I am SO excited to be a part of the Bamford community and teaching my favorite grade level: 4th! I have experience at all grade levels but enjoy fourth grade students and content the most – especially Colorado history!  I’m a Colorado girl at heart – 5th generation! My great, great grandparents traveled by covered wagon to Colorado and homesteaded a piece of land near Nunn. They even lived in a dugout! My family has been in Colorado ever since.

Being a teacher also runs in my bloodline. I come from a long line of teachers, and I married a teacher! My husband Greg teaches mathematics at Loveland High school. We live in Fort Collins with our two daughters, Leila (6th grade) and Ellynor (3rd grade), and pets: Charlie the rescue cat, Bessie the rat terrier, Freckles the dwarf rabbit, and Latte the gerbil.  My family loves to laugh and spend time together watching movies, eating good food, and traveling.

In my spare time you’ll catch me sipping coffee and reading or doing something creative. I love art and find myself consistently inspired by the natural beauty of Colorado.
