I grew up in Aurora and Elizabeth, Colorado, where I found my joy in working with others and being a part of something bigger than myself. After singing in every choir, performing in every show, and jamming with every band I could, I moved to the NoCo area and earned a BA and MM in music education. I hold a certification in the Kodály methodology and am a certified Little Kids Rock instructor, and have continued to expand my classroom approach to include Dalcroze, Orff, and audio/video production. Throughout my college years and as an adult, I have sung and toured internationally with choir, performed in a wide variety of plays, musicals, and operas, played in drumline, and performed with various community and gig bands. After a year teaching Choir and Drama at Resurrection Christian School and four years as the music teacher at Laurel Elementary, I was blessed with the opportunity to be a full-time Domestic Dad to my two beautiful children for seven all-too-fast years. I am overjoyed to be returning to the music classroom, and to join the fantastic community at Bamford!
My amazing wife, kids, and I love our family time. We spend lots of time at the pool, geeking out about Disney movies and Harry Potter, playing games, and tackling the next project on our DIY list.
