I have been teaching for 24 years. I started in 5th grade, moved down to 4th and then to 3rd, and then back to 4th and 5th. At Bamford I am the STEM Teacher and the GT Coordinator, which are two of my educational passions! I feel so lucky to come to this awesome school every day and have fun encouraging kids to think outside the box and achieve as much as they can.
I’m originally from Texas, but I escaped as soon as I could. I’ve lived in Illinois, Ohio, and Arizona as well as Texas, before moving to Fort Collins. My family moved here in 2014 to be closer to my sister, who also lives in Fort Collins, and much of my extended family, who are in the Denver area.
My husband, Robert, and I have two sons, Benjamin, who attends CSU, and Sebastian, who is at Minot State University in North Dakota. We also have two spoiled dogs, Zookie and Casper, who love nothing more than a good snack or long walk (or both simultaneously…)
I love spending time with my family, reading, fly fishing, gardening, riding my new e-bike, and skiing!
