2021-2022 will be my 8th year in Poudre School District. I taught my first 7 years at Bacon Elementary School.
I have taught in both an integrated preschool classroom, and a Center-Based class for preschoolers with Autism. Prior to getting my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, I was a social worker for children and families in a variety of positions, including supporting families with young children with disabilities for almost 20 years.
My hobbies include walking, reading, watching football, crafting and spending time with my daughter, Lydia who is a senior at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) studying to be an audiologist. In my “spare time”, I enjoy teaching others how to be preschool teachers as an adjunct instructor at UNC.
My favorite quote is:
““What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
I can’t live without my coffee 😊.
I currently live in Greeley and my hometown is Lyons, Colorado.
