I grew up on a farm in Chadron, Nebraska with my parents and my younger brother Dane. After graduating from Chadron State College, I moved to Yorktown, Virginia where I taught 4th grade for six years. I have been here in Fort Collins teaching 5th grade at Shepardson STEM Elementary for the last 13 years.
I love watching college football, but I especially love the Huskers! I grew up around horses - I showed Quarter Horses for years, was a trail guide in Estes Park, worked as the Horseback Riding Director at a youth camp in northern California, and was a barn supervisor for the Budweiser Clydesdales in Williamsburg, Virginia. I love playing sand volleyball, horseback riding, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with my Corgi. During the summer, I enjoy going home to Nebraska to farm for my dad.
I'm so excited to be part of opening a new school and I can't wait to meet all of the new Bamford Elementary students and families!!
