I am thrilled to be supporting the Bamford community as the English Language Development Teacher! I earned my BA in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado; I am now completing my master's in Teaching Diverse Learners, with endorsements in Special Education and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education, also at UNC. I have been an elementary class teacher for seven years, during which time I have developed a passion for supporting and advocating for students with diverse cultures, languages, abilities, and learning needs. My greatest desire as a teacher is to help my students fully celebrate and utilize their unique personalities, skills, preferences, cultures, and life experiences to achieve success both inside and outside of the classroom.
When I am not teaching, I love to roam the mountains and travel the world! Exploring and discovering new cultures and perspectives is a priority for me. My partner and I have three children, ranging in age from 5th grade to a freshman in college, and they all love to travel with us.
I am excited to play a part in helping every student and family at Bamford experience a sense of value and belonging as members of the Wolf Pack!
